A.J. Cann is currently slated to start at right guard for the Jaguars, which leaves a lot to be desired. Calvin Throckmorton, however, can come in and help out. While he played primarily at right tackle at Oregon, he moved all over the offensive line. Moreover, his lack of elite speed and quickness project him best as a guard in the NFL.

What Throckmorton lacks in agility, however, he makes up for in pure strength. He’s a massive human being that moves people out of the way. He’ll have no problem adjusting to the NFL in terms of finding his anchor and winning with power, thus making him a nice addition to the Jacksonville offense.

Other Players Available: Collin Johnson, Davion Taylor, Michael Ojemudia

Adding Josiah Scott at cornerback along with Terrell and safety Ashtyn Davis would put this secondary in a good future spot. The Michigan State product is one of the most under-valued players at the position in the 2020 draft class. He showed he’s a nice athlete at the NFL Combine with a 4.42-second 40 and his tape backs that up. Scott is explosive off the line and has the body control to glide all over the field and make up space if necessary.

More than likely due to his size, Scott will be relegated to working out of the slot more often than not at the NFL level. However, he can still be a dominant presence there with the tools and mentality he brings to the position. He can stick with the best of route-runners and will be a plus-defender in Jacksonville.

Other Players Available: Kevin Dotson, J.R. Reed, Cole McDonald

While the Jaguars addressed the hole at tight end on the roster with Tyler Eifert, the veteran has been a constant injury concern and is far from reliable at this point in his career. The unfortunate part is that the 2020 tight end class is weak. However, Cheyenne O’Grady stands out as a potential high-value, high-upside pick at No. 171 as he only falls due to off-field issues.

While he was suspended and kicked off the team at Arkansas, O’Grady’s talent can’t be ignored. He’s a great route-runner who’s smooth and crisp when trying to separate. He’s also physical and can win with his big frame. If not for his character red flags, he might be a Day 2 pick. However, the Jags deem him worth the risk at this spot.

Other Players Available: Cameron Clark, Josiah Degura, Khalil Davis
