The Cleveland Browns should do the simple, not the splashy, in the 2020 NFL Draft which is exactly what happens in this 7-round mock

Andrew Berry is about to go through his first NFL Draft as a general manager and things couldn’t be more interesting for the Cleveland Browns rookie. With there being major changes to how work is being done worldwide due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the league will be holding their draft virtually, meaning Berry and the rest of the league’s decision-makers will be at home making their selections for the 2020 NFL Draft.

While that could present some challenges, the actual draft process shouldn’t be hard for the Browns. Their roster is made up of a lot of talent, with star players such as Odell Beckham, Jr., Jarvis Landry, Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb and Myles Garrett under contract.

Berry even filled some of their biggest holes this offseason as he signed right tackle Jack Conklin, safety Karl Joseph and nose tackle Andrew Billings. There was also the big addition of tight end Austin Hooper, their prized free-agent signing.

With all those players now ready to join the team, they’ve limited the number of holes on the roster. And with that being the case, it makes it seem as though this draft should be very simple — land a star left tackle, a future starting safety, and a few more depth pieces after that.

That’s the recipe that needs to be followed and they do exactly that in this final Cleveland Browns 7-round mock draft.
