1. Redskins select Young at No. 2 instead of quarterback

The Washington Redskins should feel beyond thankful the Cincinnati Bengals are in desperate need of help at quarterback since it will hopefully put the team in great position to land Ohio State superstar Chase Young.

Over the years, the Buckeyes have seen plenty of their former star players go on to have successful careers in the NFL, including Nick Bosa last season with the San Francisco 49ers.

Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to success in the NFL, but chances are Young could be just as good, if not better, than his former teammate in Bosa based on his play from the last two seasons at Ohio State.

The fact that Young recorded 27 sacks in 25 games is just one of many reasons why the Redskins are strongly considering the defensive end, and this could even be one of those moves that changes the franchise completely in one of the best ways possible.

Plain and simple, the last thing Washington can afford is to regret passing on Young down the road when looking at all of the potential surrounding the young defender entering the NFL.

So as long as Cincinnati sticks to what seems to be their plan in going with Burrow at No. 1, Young should be an easy choice for the Redskins, and there is no reason to even think twice about it.
