18. Ravens trade up for Kinlaw
As frustrating as it was to watch the Baltimore Ravens lose their first playoff game to the Tennessee Titans in January despite earning the No. 1 seed in the AFC, at least the team should continue to be a top threat in the AFC for 2020.
Normally, the Ravens tend to be a top contender due to their defense being one of the best in the league, but it was Lamar Jackson and the offense that turned out to be the main difference-maker this past season.
After taking home MVP honors, there’s every reason to believe that Jackson will have Baltimore’s offense continue to be a top threat in the league, but the defense will need to come through on their end as well once again.
On paper, the Ravens are loaded with talent on the defensive side of the football, but there’s always room for additional talent to help the unit reach new levels of play.
With all of the excitement surrounding Javon Kinlaw following an amazing career at South Carolina, Baltimore would easily need to trade up from their current No. 26 pick just to have a chance at the young defender.
But all things considered, Kinlaw would be worth the trade and provide some much-needed depth on defense for the Ravens.
