17. Rodgers gets new touchdown target in Jefferson

Watching the Green Bay Packers reach the NFC Championship last January was amazing to see after the team previously missed out on the playoffs in each of the last two seasons.

But unfortunately, as great as it was to watch the Packers almost reach the Super Bowl, their loss to the San Francisco 49ers made it clear they were still a work in progress, especially at wide receiver.

First off, Aaron Rodgers is lucky enough to have such a reliable target in Davante Adams when seeing how easy the wideout makes it look at times each week, but beyond the star receiver is a different story.

In the past, Rodgers has always been the kind of quarterback that makes the players around him better, and while Green Bay had a few young weapons with potential beyond Adams, no one really stepped up to be consistent enough last season.

As a result, the Packers will enter the draft in search of extra help at wide receiver, and if Justin Jefferson still happens to be available at No. 30, this could be a perfect fit.

The fact that Jefferson emerged as one of Joe Burrow’s favorite targets last season at LSU with 18 touchdown catches shows what kind of potential he brings to the NFL, and a move like this would help eliminate a ton of unnecessary pressure Rodgers may be feeling under center.
