2020 NFL Draft: 20 Bold predictions for first round

13. Steelers trade up into first round for Swift
At the moment, the Pittsburgh Steelers are without a pick in the first round due to the previous trade that resulted in Minkah Fitzpatrick coming on board from the Miami Dolphins.
As frustrating as this may seem at the moment for Steelers fans, the good news is they basically received first-round talent in Fitzpatrick from the trade to put the defense in better shape for years to come.
Not to mention, just because Pittsburgh is without a first-round pick at the moment doesn’t necessarily mean the circumstances won’t change come Thursday if the Steelers decide they truly want a prospect who might not be available on Day 2.
James Conner has made a name for himself as the top running back for Pittsburgh’s offense after things with Le’Veon Bell failed to work out, but there’s always room for extra help at the position.
D’Andre Swift is considered a second-round prospect at the moment, but there has been talk about the Georgia product sneaking up into the first round if a team is willing to take an early shot at a top running back.
Conner rightfully deserves to be the top running back at the moment, but a potential one-two punch like this with Swift could help the offense get back on track after the results of last season.
