29. player. 35. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Penn State. Yetur Gross-Matos

There has been a ton of speculation that the Tennessee Titans could be the eventual destination in free agency for Jadeveon Clowney. And with the way the chips have fallen thus far, that could very much still be in play. However, they have a need on the edge as their roster stands entering the 2020 NFL Draft and, with a high-upside player like Yetur Gross-Matos available, they take their shot here.

While at Penn State, the flashes of Gross-Matos are simply out of this world. He’s explosive and has a tremendous blend of length and athleticism to be dangerous. The issue right now is that he simply needs reps and coaching in terms of his pass-rushing plan. He can get that in Tennessee, seeing rotational snaps early and hopefully developing into an every-down player by the end of his first season.

Justin Jefferson. 49. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. LSU. 30. player

To hear people talk about the Green Bay Packers in the 2020 offseason, you wouldn’t remember that this team made it to the NFC Championship Game last year. That’s where they went, though, meaning this team is in the ballpark of contending for Super Bowl titles. But for that to happen, Aaron Rodgers and the offense need another weapon in the passing game beyond Davante Adams.

That’s why Justin Jefferson is the obvious selection with the No. 30 pick. At LSU, Jefferson lined up primarily in the slot and could do that for the Packers right away. With great route-running but deceptively great speed and sure hands, he’s a versatile player that can attack all levels of the field and give Green Bay a more versatile and, thus, dangerous passing offense.
