2020 NFL Mock Draft, final 7-round prediction: Patriots trade up for QB
Like I said, the Browns can trade back in the first round and not take an offensive tackle because they can still get the guy they want, Ezra Cleveland, with their second-round pick. That’s what happens and they get their hopeful answer at left tackle in the ultra-athletic Boise State product who should be a great fit under Kevin Stefanski.
Finally, the Jaguars address the hole at cornerback left by the trades that sent away Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye. Noah Igbinoghene is a raw prospect who has only been at corner for two seasons. However, his physical tools and progression that he’s already shown make his upside through the roof and worth a shot from the Jags.
(Pick via Raiders) Is wide receiver the top need for the Bears? Probably not. However, I believe they will give either Mitchell Trubisky or Nick Foles every chance possible to succeed. That means adding more weaponry, which Jalen Reagor is in a big way. Fast, quick and dangerous at all levels, he can give another weapon that leaves no excuses for the quarterbacks.
If not for injuries, there’s no way Laviska Shenault Jr. would fall out of the first round. But he was banged up at the NFL Combine and throughout his college career. The Colts see the value at this spot and add a much-needed weapon on offense. Now Rivers has someone other than T.Y. Hilton to consistently throw to. Even better that Shenault is the best YAC receiver in the class.
