The Packers took three receivers in the late rounds back in 2018 and could follow the same pattern in the 2020 NFL Draft. Equanimeous St. Brown, J’Mon Moore and Marquez Valdes-Scantling were all apart of Green Bay’s late-round receiver frenzy during general manager Brian Gutekunst’s inaugural draft.

Rhode Island receiver Isaiah Coulter would be a great selection in the fifth or sixth round. Coulter (6-2, 198) has the experience and athleticism the Packers could be looking for in a late-round prospect. While he’s not the best route-runner, Coulter has experience as a natural ‘X’ receiver. In his final collegiate season, he caught 72 passes for 1,039 yards and eight touchdowns.

Here’s what Lance Zierlein of NFL.com had to say about Coulter as a prospect:

"Raw but talented X receiver with NFL-caliber length, speed and athletic ability. He runs a limited route tree and doesn’t show enough attention to detail in his route work, but he’s loose and fluid with the ability to get that area corrected."

If the Packers want to take a late-round flier on a potential future contributor, Coulter could be their guy, especially if the team doesn’t allocate major resources into drafting pass-catchers earlier in the draft.
