With Ohio State’s J.K. Dobbins still available, there are a few teams that should consider trading up in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft to land the star running back.

As disappointing as it was for J.K. Dobbins to miss out on being selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the good news for the Ohio State star running back is it shouldn’t be too long until he hears his name called in the second round.

Unfortunately, there is a popular trend during drafts most years in regards to selecting running backs too early since they tend to not last as long at the NFL level, but also Dobbins is a special kind of player who will make one team quite happy on Friday.

In fact, since the Kansas City Chiefs were the only team to go with a running back on Thursday, it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if numerous teams decided to focus on the position during the second round of the draft on Friday.

Between his impressive vision along with the 2,003 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns recorded as a junior in 2019, Dobbins can certainly bring a lot to the table as a rookie during his first NFL season.

When looking at all of the teams in need of help at running back during the first 10 picks, it wouldn’t come as a surprise at all if Dobbins was drafted early on Friday night since the overall potential is just too good to pass on.

However, it should also be noted there could be a handful of teams that may express interest in trading up for Dobbins now that he happens to still be available entering the second round.
