2. Philadelphia Eagles

Would the Philadelphia Eagles consider selecting a running back in the second round of the draft for the second year in a row?

Running back certainly isn’t the top need for the defending NFC East champions at the moment, but if the Eagles were to upgrade at the No. 2 spot behind Miles Sanders with a young rookie in Dobbins, this would seem like an easy decision for Doug Pederson and company.

Around this time last year, Philadelphia obviously felt confident enough in Sanders eventually becoming a key member of the offense playing alongside Jordan Howard, but the former Penn State star stepped his game up even more down the stretch when needed the most.

To top off the impressive play from Sanders, the Eagles also watched Boston Scott make a surprise impact on offense in the final weeks to help the team secure a playoff spot.

At the moment, Philadelphia seems confident enough that Sanders and Scott could be quite the dominant duo on offense in the backfield to put the Eagles in the best position possible to repeat as division champions.

But if Dobbins were to become part of the plans as a result of a trade, the Eagles could still find a way to use Scott from time to time if needed, only as a No. 3 option instead of No. 2.
