Scouting Report. Wide Receiver. 45. player. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Jerry Jeudy. 15

Grade: A

Coming into the draft, it wasn’t a secret that the Denver Broncos wanted one of the class’ top wide receivers. So you can probably guess that John Elway was pumped when he found Jerry Jeudy sitting there for the taking when he was on the clock at No. 15 overall.

This is a home run pick for the Broncos, who get arguably the top 2020 receiver midway through the first round. With the Jeudy pick, they provide young gunslinger Drew Lock with a legitimate No. 1 receiver who can make an instant impact.

Teamed with Courtland Sutton, Jeudy could soon help form one of the league’s top young receiving duos.

Let’s just call this a steal and leave it at that. The Broncos needed more playmakers in the passing game and found exactly what they were looking for with Jeudy. In terms of value, there really isn’t anything more they could have asked for.

Things are looking up for Denver after this selection.
