Scouting Report. Oklahoma. player. 123. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. CeeDee Lamb. 17

Grade: B+

In terms of value, this is a great pick. The Dallas Cowboys offense gets even more dangerous, adding arguably the class’ top receiver to a group that already includes Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. Dak Prescott won’t struggle to find targets in 2020.

With that said, the Cowboys ignored a defense that needs some help moving forward. They could use a second pass rusher to line up across from Demarcus Lawrence, and options were available.

Instead, they go with a wide receiver, a position that they easily could have ignored until later in the draft.

The Cowboys already boasted one of the best passing games in the NFL a season ago. With Lamb now in the mix, that’s highly unlikely to change.

Even if they can’t get after opposing quarterbacks, they shouldn’t have too much trouble outscoring them.
