Best available players on Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft
16. Brycen Hopkins, TE, Purdue
Harkening back to what I’ve already said about tight ends, Brycen Hopkins was suspected to be off the board already. Even still, he should be able to nab some targets as a rookie.
17. Bradlee Anae, EDGE, Utah
There’s nothing Bradlee Anae does that stands out as a trump card. However, he’s a well-rounded player who could be a nice part of a rotation immediately.
18. Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State
I don’t totally see what everyone else does with Eno Benjamin but there is talent there. He can be a nice little jitterbug out of the backfield for some team.
19. Nick Harris, IOL, Washingon
The Senior Bowl was not kind to Nick Harris‘ stock but the veteran Washington center should find a home somewhere given his mobility and solid tape.
20. Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
Honestly, I have no idea where to put Jake Fromm. His mental processing is how he wins — but I don’t truly see any other way he wins against an NFL defense.
21. Reggie Robinson II, CB, Tulsa
One of my crushes in the 2020 NFL Draft, Reggie Robinson II has size, length, athleticism and college production. What more does it take to impress an NFL team?
22. Geno Stone, S, Iowa
People have been singing the praises of Geno Stone because of his solid athletic ability and elite football IQ. He could be a steal if those praises are correct.
23. Ben Bartch, OT, St. John’s
Ben Bartch performed well at the Senior Bowl and has a lot of fans but will take some development given the competition he faced in at St. John’s.
24. Kenny Willekes, EDGE, Michigan State
Much like Anae, there is not really any aspect of football that Kenny Willekes is exceptional at. But his motor and overall body of work are good enough for him to settle into a solid rotational role.
25. Netane Muti, IOL, Fresno State
Injuries are the only reason that Netane Muti is at No. 25 and, frankly, that he’s still on the board on Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft. At full health, he’s a top-three guard in the class.
