Seattle Seahawks: Grading every pick in 2020 NFL Draft
By Samuel Teets
Round 5, Pick 148: Alton Robinson, DE, Syracuse
The Seahawks made a wise selection when they picked Alton Robinson in the fifth round. The 6-3, 264-pound defensive end flashed second or third round potential at points during the 2019 college football season, and he could potentially even outclass Darrell Taylor in the long-run.
Robinson struggled during his senior season at Syracuse, failing to match his impressive junior year numbers. However, he did put up 85 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and 14 sacks during his final two seasons.
At the NFL level, Robinson must focus on refining the skills he already possesses and develop a diversified set of pass-rushing moves. He already plays with a good motor and handles the run well. His consistency and refinement need attention. Otherwise, Robinson looks like an impact defender.

Round 6, Pick 214: Freddie Swain, WR, Florida
During his four years at Florida, Freddie Swain never emerged as a standout receiver. His best season came in 2019 when he finished with 38 receptions for 517 yards and seven touchdowns. He possesses soft hands, but his routes draw a lot of criticism from scouts.
Frankly, Swain looks more like a seventh-round pick or an undrafted free agent than a sixth-round selection. Also, drafting a wide receiver a year after drafting three reflects poorly on Seattle’s front office.
