15. Pick Analysis. LB. Alabama. Dylan Moses. player. 53. Scouting Report

Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses‘ decision to return to Tuscaloosa for his senior season was quite shocking, even if he missed the entirety of last year after tearing his ACL in the preseason. Despite the injury and not having any 2019 film to turn to, Moses was still likely to be in the conversation as a first-round pick in 2020 had he decided to come out. But now ready to return to the field for the Crimson Tide, he should be a no-doubt first-round pick and that holds true in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

When healthy, Moses is simply a force that can change the middle of a defense. He has an elite football IQ and feel for the position but has the physical tools to back that up. Moses can fly from sideline to sideline with ease and is a sure tackler whenever he gets to his mark. He also has the baseline athleticism and the frame to be a good coverage linebacker in the NFL as well.

The hosts of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns didn’t address the linebacker position early in 2020. While they may be able to get by with their current group in the upcoming season given the defensive talent elsewhere, adding a player like Moses is a no-brainer for them. He can reshape that side of the ball and give the Browns an elite, young defense that can shut down the opposition at will.
