The virtual format was different but kept us all entertained. Now, we look back at the 2020 NFL Draft and assign a grade to every team for their work in the big event

What started out as a huge unknown ended up being quite the success. The NFL was originally planning to hold the 2020 NFL Draft in Las Vegas, Nevada which was going to be a huge event considering the Raiders were coming to Sin City to be the first NFL team in the state.

However, life had a different plan as the COVID-19 pandemic forced the league to change gears. While sports already in progress such as the NBA had to shut down operations, the NFL decided not to cancel the draft but instead call an audible. For the first time in league history, all picks were going to be made by teams from their homes and commissioner Roger Goodell was the M.C. from his basement in Bronxville, New York.

While none of us knew what to expect, the event ended up being a lot of fun. It provided us all a small glimpse into the homes of those we usually can only see in their settings on an NFL sideline or in a draft war room. Even Goodell was a scaled-back version of himself and did a good job interacting with fans and players in this incredibly different setting.

However, none of that should take away from the players who were being selected this weekend. After years of work and dedication, there were 255 players called to join the NFL family. And as is the case every season, some teams mastered the draft whereas others left us with more questions than answers.

Here, we look back over all the selections and grade the 32 different teams based on their entire draft class, starting with the Arizona Cardinals.
