2020 NFL Draft grades for every team: Cowboys ace test, Packers falter

New York Jets
Patience is hard but sometimes it works out. The New York Jets understand this which is why they went the route they did in the draft. Armed with the No. 11 overall pick, they had their choice of all the wide receivers on the board. This had to be tempting considering how desperately they need a No. 1 target for Sam Darnold.
The problem is, they just as desperately needed a left tackle. With that being the case, they decided to grab Louisville’s Mekhi Becton who will start from day one while banking on the fact that this class was so deep at receiver to help them land someone in Round 2.
Their plan worked out as the Jets were back on the clock at No. 59 and Baylor wideout Denzel Mims was there waiting to be selected. New York was glad to end his fall and Mims gives them someone with great size and speed and his drop issues in college could be attributed to playing through a broken hand. He gives them a legitimate weapon on the outside and landing Becton first means Darnold will have time to get him the ball.
As for their best value pick, landing Bryce Hall all the way at No. 158 feels unreal. Before getting injured at Virginia, this was one of the best corners in the class and he could turn into a real star for them.
