Baltimore Ravens

One of the best draft classes overall came courtesy of the Baltimore Ravens, which isn’t much of a shock. For years, they’ve been one of the best teams in the league on draft weekend and even moving from Ozzie Newsome to Eric DeCosta hasn’t changed their ability to scout and knock their picks out of the park.

Their first pick in this draft was LSU linebacker Patrick Queen, who will help them replace C.J. Mosley who left in free agency ahead of the 2019 season. They remained stout on that side of the ball even after the loss but finding a linebacker with a nose for the ball like Queen will only improve their defense.

From there, they found a way to get even better at their greatest strength, landing Ohio State running back J.J. Dobbins. Already the No. 1 rushing team in the NFL, they added a guy who topped 2,000-yards for the Buckeyes last season. They also got a massive steal landing defensive tackle Justin Madubuike at pick 71, while some had an early second-round grade on him.

Baltimore even found a potential starter late, picking up Michigan’s Ben Bredeson at No. 143. He could slide right in to replace Marshall Yanda keeping the offense running well.
