2020 NFL Draft grades for every team: Cowboys ace test, Packers falter

Cleveland Browns
Andrew Berry is in his first season as general manager of the Cleveland Browns and so far, he’s been making it look easy. Berry was able to set the team up for the draft by filling the majority of their holes with some big free-agent signings such as Jack Conklin, Karl Joseph, and Austin Hooper. He then decided to impress everyone in the draft as well.
With their first pick, No. 10 overall, Berry picked up one of the best offensive linemen in the class as they took Alabama’s Jedrick Wills Jr. With him and Conklin as bookends, the Browns offensive line suddenly resembles a real NFL O-line rather than a turnstile.
In Round 2 and 3, he continued to do well. Berry traded back from No. 41 to 44 and added an extra fifth-round pick and still landed LSU safety Grant Delpit. In the third, they moved back from 74 to 88 and took Missouri’s Jordan Elliott while adding a third-round pick next season.
He rounded things out in the third by adding Jacob Phillips, another SEC product who will fight for snaps early as they’re in need of a solid-tackling option at linebacker. Hunter Bryant was another solid pick as he gives Baker Mayfield another solid tight end, and Mayfield has shown he loves to throw it to the big guys in the middle of the field.
It was a solid first effort for Berry as he gave the Browns all the tools they need to compete in the AFC North. The only question now is whether or not they got the head coaching hire of Kevin Stefanski right.
