Pick Analysis. Justin Jefferson. player. Scouting Report. Wide Receiver. LSU. 22. 60

Did the Philadelphia Eagles hand the Minnesota Vikings a gift in the first round by passing on Justin Jefferson to draft Jalen Reagor instead?

The TCU star with his blazing speed certainly has a great opportunity to be a perfect fit on offense for Philadelphia, but the potential surrounding Jefferson seems too good to be true for Minnesota.

Even though it will nearly seem impossible for Jefferson to come anywhere close to the 18 touchdown catches the wideout recorded last season at LSU, just watching the wideout’s highlight reel from 2018 should give Vikings fans plenty of reasons to be excited.

The decision to move on from Stefon Diggs this offseason after trading the speedy wideout to the Buffalo Bills was obviously difficult for Minnesota, but also led to the selection of Jefferson to help fill the void in the passing game.

After coming up short in the Divisional Round last January to the San Francisco 49ers, Kirk Cousins and the Vikings will need to overcome the intense pressure that will come in 2020 to show they can remain a top contender in the NFC.

If Jefferson shines right away as a rookie, Minnesota should be just fine on offense during the 2020 season.
