To say the pressure is on Dan Quinn entering the 2020 season would be a huge understatement when taking into consideration the Atlanta Falcons head coach was basically on the hot seat for most of last year before the team decided to give him another chance.

Talent-wise, the Falcons are loaded on both sides of the football, making it easy to understand why there was so much frustration felt towards Quinn last season after the team got off to a horrendous start.

Since the offense is in better shape than most in the league with Matt Ryan having a top target in Julio Jones to work with, Atlanta seemed like a strong candidate to focus on the defensive side of the football early on in the draft, which turned out to be exactly the case.

Atlanta’s decision to go with A.J. Terrell over some of the other cornerbacks that were still available in the middle of the first round seemed questionable by some, but also could work wonders.

Clemson’s defense was fortunate enough to work their way into the conversation of being one of the best in college football over the years, and if the last three seasons are any indication, Terrell should be in for a solid NFL career.
