Previous: 12th. Philadelphia Eagles. 12. team. 54. .

Due to all of the injuries surrounding key players like DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery, the Philadelphia Eagles were expected to take advantage of this year’s draft class with all the talent at wide receivers.

However, no one expected the defending NFC East champions to select three wide receivers over the course of the weekend, one of which happened to be Jalen Reagor from TCU.

While there was plenty of frustration over Philadelphia missing out on CeeDee Lamb along with the decision by the team to pass on Justin Jefferson, there are plenty of reasons to be thrilled over Reagor coming on board.

For starters, Reagor will not only bring plenty of speed to the table in the passing game, but the wideout can also be used on special teams, which sets him apart from some of the other players at the position.

In time, Philadelphia will find out if they made the right choice by going with Reagor, but football fans shouldn’t be surprised if the rookie ends up contributing right away to help the Eagles keep things tight in the NFC East race.

The Dallas Cowboys may be viewed as the new favorites within the division following a successful draft, but Philadelphia happens to be defending NFC East champions for a reason and could be even more dangerous with a healthy receiving corps for Carson Wentz to work with.
