Dallas Cowboys. 7. team. 123. . . Previous: 9th

Wide receiver obviously was far from a top need for the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the draft since the current group is currently led by Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup, but CeeDee Lamb was way too good of a talent to pass on.

Since there were plenty of other teams ahead of the Cowboys in need of help at the wide receiver position, it was sort of surprising to see the Oklahoma product still available at No. 17, and it’s terrifying to think about how is he going to be the third option at wideout.

What made this selection even more enjoyable for Dallas is knowing there was interest from the Philadelphia Eagles to potentially land Lamb at No. 21 before settling for Jalen Reagor, meaning the Cowboys earned the last laugh over their division rivals.

After failing to win the NFC East last season despite all of the injuries the Philadelphia Eagles were forced to deal with, Dallas hopes bringing Mike McCarthy onboard results in the team quickly emerging as the favorites to win the division come September.

The Cowboys always seem to have a Super-Bowl caliber team on paper, but if everyone can stay healthy, the results next season could finally be different.
