2020 NFL Power Rankings, post-draft: Cowboys big winners, Packers major losers

Around this time last year, one of the biggest surprises from the draft was the decision by the New York Giants to select Daniel Jones as their new potential quarterback of the future, mainly because there were arguably better options available.
Like most of the quarterbacks from last year’s draft class, Jones still has plenty to prove in regards to showing the Giants he is, in fact, the right answer, but at least the former Duke star displayed plenty of potential as a rookie.
At this stage in the offseason, time will tell when it comes to determining whether New York has what it takes to emerge as a potential sleeper contender in the NFC, but at least they did add some talent in the first round in Andrew Thomas to provide Jones with extra protection.
But of course, the real difference-maker for the Giants will come down to the play on the defensive side of the football when looking at all of the high-powered offenses in the NFC East, which is why Xavier McKinney was such a great pick.
One of the positive factors over a team like the Giants having an early pick in the second round is taking advantage of the first-round talent that slips to Day 2, and with McKinney being one of the top safeties from the class, New York’s defense earned a great addition.
