Denver Broncos. 26. team. 45. . . Previous: 27th

Ever since Peyton Manning decided to call it a career, the Denver Broncos have struggled to find a reliable quarterback to build the franchise around, but their luck may finally change with Drew Lock.

Last year, there was some uncertainty over whether the Broncos made the right choice in the second round of the draft when they selected Lock instead of passing on a few other options.

But after seeing how sharp Lock looked at times for Denver down the stretch last season, there seems to finally be some excitement surrounding the Broncos’ offense entering 2020 for the first time in what feels like forever.

To top it off, Denver came up big in the first two rounds of this year’s draft by adding Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler to what was already an exciting young group of receivers for Lock to work with.

When looking at the high-powered offense surrounding the Kansas City Chiefs after winning the Super Bowl last February, the Broncos will need to score as many points as possible in 2020 just to have a chance of keeping things close with their rivals.

As long as all goes well with Lock learning from last year’s rookie experience, Denver could be another team worth keeping an eye on in the AFC as far as potential sleepers are concerned.
