2. player. 35. . WR. Tennessee Titans. Corey Davis

One of the most head-scratching career paths of the past few seasons has been that of Corey Davis. The Titans selected Davis with the No. 5 overall pick back in 2017, hoping that he’d one day develop into one of the league’s best receivers. That hasn’t panned out, though, as the team recently declined Davis’ fifth-year option on his rookie contract.

While Davis hasn’t been a total bust, he’s certainly not lived up to the hype of being a top-five pick. In three seasons, Davis has caught 142 receptions for 1,867 yards and six touchdowns. Part of his production (or lack thereof) could be attributed to changes in offensive coordinators in each of his three years in the NFL, as well as poor quarterback play.

But at some point, Davis still has to produce and he simply hasn’t done so. Maybe the Titans will give him one more chance to prove his worth in a contract year, but it stands to reason that the team may be willing to trade him and capitalize on his value while he’s still on the roster. Other teams could be hypnotized by his potential.

Davis is a prime trade target for the Packers, who, outside of Davante Adams, lack a premiere weapon on the outside. Devin Funchess could be the answer, but the Davis’ upside is far greater. A fourth- or fifth-rounder could be enough to pry Davis from the Titans.
