There’s a new head coach for the Dallas Cowboys and that could lead to changes on the roster, which is why these three veterans should be paying attention

This offseason, the Dallas Cowboys have made some big moves that have expectations starting to rise. The biggest move came with their head coach as they finally realized the team wasn’t getting where they needed to under Jason Garrett.

While he had his share of positive traits, Garrett lacked the killer instinct in games and his ultra-conservative approach often held the team back. He did back off his stubborn ways some in 2019 with Kellen Moore calling the plays but the pain was evident on his face while he furiously paced the sidelines.

With Garrett now gone, the Cowboys are turning to Mike McCarthy who won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers. He now looks to turn Dallas back into a winning franchise and has a lot to work with — especially after a great 2020 draft.

In that class, the Cowboys added wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, cornerbacks Trevon Diggs and Reggie Robinson, and defensive linemen Neville Gallimore and Bradlee Anae. All of those players could end up being contributors from Week 1 which could also lead to some veterans unexpectedly seeing the door before the 2020 campaign begins.

There might be some names that will be easy to predict being moved on from, but here will be some surprises as well due to the coaching change and influx of talent. Here we dive into the roster and predict the three most likely players to be surprise cuts this year.
