If and when 2020 NFL training camps finally get underway, there’s a good chance these Las Vegas Raiders veteran players won’t be on the roster for long.

It’s been an odd NFL offseason, full of unknowns as the world attempts to wade it way through the coronavirus fiasco it’s currently facing. Unfortunately for a few Las Vegas Raiders veterans, the situation isn’t going to improve much once training camps finally kick off.

I don’t mean to bring even more negative into the equation that we already deal with on a daily basis. I’m just trying to shed some light on the reality of the situation. As soon as training camps start up again, teams are going to have some difficult decisions to make. The Raiders are no exception, especially as they look to shake things up heading into the 2020 campaign.

That’s why I’ve put this list together — to prepare you all for the realities that lie ahead.

The Raiders coaching staff will have to cut the cord with a few prominent players as they attempt to upgrade on what was a disappointing 2019 season. Players who haven’t lived up to their billing or contracts will need to be shown the door, especially after the influx of promising young talent that came during the 2020 NFL Draft.

So here they are — the five Raiders veterans I believe will not survive 2020 training camp (whenever that actually begins).
