9. Matt Nagy, Chicago Bears

Matt Nagy’s head-coaching career with the Chicago Bears could not have gotten off to a better start during the 2018 season after the team managed to pull off the unthinkable by finishing on top of the NFC North.

Even if the Bears came up short in the playoffs that season to the Philadelphia Eagles during Wild Card Weekend, Nagy appeared to be on his way to making Chicago a consistent contender in the NFC for years to come.

Instead, the Bears took an unfortunate step back in 2019 by finishing 8-8 and missing out on the playoffs.

Normally, this wouldn’t be viewed as that big of a deal, but if Chicago misses out on the playoffs for the second year in a row during the 2020 season, the pressure is going to start building up for Nagy.

Not to mention, Nagy is facing plenty of additional pressure as well to figure out the team’s quarterback situation now that Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles will apparently be competing for the starting job.

On a positive note, at least Nagy doesn’t have too much to worry about on the defensive side of the football since Khalil Mack and the rest of the unit have the chance to be one of the best in the league.
