7. Anthony Lynn, Los Angeles Chargers

One year after winning 12 games, and earning a trip to the Divisional Round of the playoffs, the Los Angeles Chargers seemed like they would easily continue to be a top contender in the AFC during the 2019 season.

Unfortunately, the Chargers struggled to close out numerous key games and would end up missing out on the playoffs after winning just five games.

Now, Anthony Lynn will not only be facing pressure to make sure Los Angeles turns things around in 2020 but doing so without his previous quarterback from the last three seasons in Philip Rivers.

As great as Rivers has been at times throughout his career with the Chargers, the veteran did take a step back last season, which led to the team’s decision to move on from the former first-round pick this offseason.

At the moment, Los Angeles feels confident enough in Tyrod Taylor having what it takes to run the offense, but if he isn’t up for the new responsibility, it will only make Lynn’s job that much more difficult.

Talent-wise, there is every reason to believe the Chargers are capable of making a run at the playoffs, but if the struggles from last season carry over to 2020, it could result in Lynn losing his job.
