Green Bay Packers schedule 2020: Picks, predictions for every game
Week 6: Packers at Buccaneers
Coming off of the bye week, Green Bay is on the road again and they have to take on Tom Brady and the new-look Buccaneers. There is some worry around the league about what Tampa Bay will look like early in the season depending on what the offseason programs and camps look like. By Week 6, however, I expect Brady and the Bucs to be rolling and to take down the visiting Pack, dropping them to 2-3.
Prediction: Loss
Week 7: Packers at Texans
Make no mistake, Deshaun Watson is still one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. However, there are major questions about the Texans defense and it’s hard to believe that trading DeAndre Hopkins essentially for Brandin Cooks and David Johnson will make the offense any better. Green Bay should handle business on the road to get back to .500 on the year.
Prediction: Win
Week 8: Vikings at Packers
The rivalry between the Packers and Vikings will conclude before the midway point in the 2020 regular season as Minnesota comes to Lambeau Field in Week 8. But as Minnesota got the better of Green Bay in the season-opener, expect Aaron Jones, A.J. Dillon and Jamaal Williams to carry this team as they did late last season and start a bit of a winning streak for the Pack.
Prediction: Win
Week 9: Packers at 49ers
If there’s one game that the Green Bay Packers have circled on their calendar, it’s this one. San Francisco embarrassed them twice last year, once in the regular season then in the NFC title game. Green Bay has made a concerted effort to match the Niners rushing attack and this will be a statement game for the Packers as they pick up their third straight victory.
Prediction: Win
