Seattle Seahawks schedule 2020: Picks, predictions for every game
By Samuel Teets
Week 14: New York Jets at Seattle Seahawks
If the Seahawks are going to have a letdown game late in the season, this is it. The Jets can put together a seven to nine-win team this coming season, which could prove harmful to Seattle down the stretch. Remember, the Seahawks tend to stoop to the levels of their opponents and play close games instead of winning in blowouts.
On paper, the Seahawks should take care of the Jets. Whether that happens remains to be seen.
Prediction: Win
Week 15: Seattle Seahawks at Washington Redskins
Barring Alex Smith returning from a long and gruesome rehab or Ron Rivera reuniting with Cam Newton, Washington might have the worst quarterback situation of any team in the NFL. With the defensive line sticking out as Washington’s only well-equipped unit, the Seahawks should roll to an easy victory.
Prediction: Win
Week 16: Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks
Seattle splits the season series with Los Angeles for the second year in a row. It’s hard to tell if the Rams will get better as the season progresses or if they’ll start to crumble under the realization of their lackluster roster. Either way, Seattle’s taking at least one game from the Rams this year.
Prediction: Win
Week 17: Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers
Unfortunately, the Seahawks don’t enter the playoffs on a high note. After defeating the 49ers in Week 8, Seattle falls to their divisional rivals during the final week of the season.
If everything works out, this final game could decide the winner of the NFC West in a Week 17 thriller.
Prediction: Loss
