Seattle Seahawks schedule 2020: Picks, predictions for every game
By Samuel Teets
Final Record: 12-4
Seattle continues its trend of adding one more win to last season’s win total in 2020. Frankly, winning more than ten games while playing in the NFC West is a great accomplishment. That division is the best in football and was the most competitive in 2019. Plus, the rivalry games add a new level of unpredictability. However, the Seahawks face some soft opponents outside of their division.
At 12-4, the Seahawks could challenge the San Francisco 49ers for the division title again. That’s not enough though. After losing in the Wild Card Round in 2018 and the Divisional Round in 2019, the Seahawks need to at least reach the Conference Championship for this year to be considered a success. It’s time to find out if this Seahawks squad can win a Super Bowl.
With Quinton Dunbar, Shaquill Griffin, and Bradley McDougald entering free agency next spring, this is Seattle’s only run with the current defensive backfield. K.J. Wright is also in the final year of his current deal.
Even with young players waiting in the wings, Seattle will take a step back defensively in 2021. This year is Seattle’s best chance to make the Super Bowl since the Legion of Boom collapsed.
