1. Tavon Austin, WR

Tavon Austin is a similar player to Taylor Gabriel in that he can do a variety of things on offense. Both are gadget players that can run jet sweeps, line up in the backfield, and catch quick screens in tight formations.

Green Bay needs to add a speedy, agile receiver who can distract defenses from Davante Adams, especially since Devin Funchess and Allen Lazard are both big-bodied red zone threats who don’t use their athleticism to get open. Austin isn’t a complete receiver by any means, but he’d at least give an element of speed to a Packers offense desperately needing it.

Austin is a former eighth-overall draft selection by the Los Angeles Rams back in 2013. He’s never lived up to his top-10 draft status, but he’s still been a threat every time he’s touched the ball with his 4.3 speed. Austin has only posted over 500 receiving yards once during his career, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have an impact.

Austin spent the past two seasons with the Cowboys, but it appears Dallas won’t re-sign him. The Packers could probably sign the 29-year-old to a cheap, incentive-laden deal. A two-year, $8 million contract isn’t out of the question.
