With the announcement of the 2020 NFL season schedule for the Minnesota Vikings, here are predictions for each game for the Vikings this year.
With the offseason nearly halfway done leading up to the 2020 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings schedule was released on Thursday. In a world of uncertainty, trying to focus on some normalcy was a good change of pace for the Vikings, the NFL and its fans on Thursday night when the league released the full schedules for teams in the upcoming 16-game regular season.
For Minnesota, which returned the playoffs last year while falling to the NFC Champions San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round, it hopes to make it two playoff appearances in a row while hopefully being able to claim the division rather than entering the postseason as a Wild Card team.
The Vikings are viewed as the early favorites to claim the NFC North title in 2020 over the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions. Minnesota has been able to retain some players mainly on offense and that might be enough for it to overpower the other three teams in the division.
Although the defense will look much different this season after losing multiple key players on that side of the ball via free agency and other avenues, the Vikings are still going to enter the 2020 campaign as a dominant team poised to potentially make some noise. It also helps that Minnesota added a large amount of intriguing young prospects that should help the team this year and beyond via the NFL Draft and the undrafted free agent signing period.
With the next step leading into the 2020 season being offseason workouts and eventually the preseason, preparation for the year is officially underway for the Vikings and they now know who and when they will play for each game during the season.
Let’s take a look at each game and week of the season for Minnesota and predict how it will do overall in the regular season.
