After Atlanta Falcons schedule was released this week, the team hopes the 2020 NFL regular season results in ending a disappointing two-year stretch leading into the new year. Led by Drew Brees, New Orleans will be the early favorites to once again finish atop the NFC South this season. Tampa Bay, with the acquisition of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, will also be in the running for the divisional crown and Carolina added former Vikings and Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to lead the offense alongside Christian McCaffrey.
That means Atlanta might have to settle for an NFC Wild Card spot if it hopes to return to the playoffs and ultimately end the two-year postseason-less streak here in 2020. After being aggressive both in the NFL Draft and the undrafted free agent process, the Falcons have a better look at who they will ride with into the upcoming season.
