With the announcement of the Atlanta Falcons schedule for the 2020 season, here are predictions for each game for the Falcons this year.

After Atlanta Falcons schedule was released this week, the team hopes the 2020 NFL regular season results in ending a disappointing two-year stretch leading into the new year. The past two years, Atlanta has failed to reach the postseason and finished the 2019 campaign with a below-.500 record of 7-9 overall finishing behind the New Orleans Saints while tying the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for second place in the NFC South standings.

This season, however, the Falcons have high hopes to trying to jump out of the gate of the regular season on a better note than they did last year to try and battle for the division title and ultimately a playoff position in 2020.

Unfortunately for Atlanta, the division suddenly got a lot tougher during the offseason and the Falcons will have to use their high-powered and potent offense to try and outscore those opposing teams this season. The Saints will return as one of the top teams in the NFC this year, while both the Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers have beefed up their offenses via free agency.

Led by Drew Brees, New Orleans will be the early favorites to once again finish atop the NFC South this season. Tampa Bay, with the acquisition of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, will also be in the running for the divisional crown and Carolina added former Vikings and Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to lead the offense alongside Christian McCaffrey.

That means Atlanta might have to settle for an NFC Wild Card spot if it hopes to return to the playoffs and ultimately end the two-year postseason-less streak here in 2020. After being aggressive both in the NFL Draft and the undrafted free agent process, the Falcons have a better look at who they will ride with into the upcoming season.

And now, Atlanta knows who and when it will play each week after the regular-season schedule was released last week. Before the preseason inches closer, let’s dive into each week on the Falcons schedule for 2020 and predict how they will do by the end of the year.
