Week 9: Broncos at Falcons

With one last game for Atlanta before it has its bye week in Week 10, the Falcons will go into that week off and will finish up Week 9 by extending their winning streak to three in a row when hosting the Denver Broncos.

In the Sunday afternoon showdown against Denver, Atlanta will use its extra day of preparation for the game after playing on Thursday night the week prior by exploding on offense to take down the Broncos. Going into the bye week in Week 10, the Falcons will be sitting in a nice spot with a record of 6-3 and winners of three straight.

Prediction: Win

Week 10: Bye

The Falcons will have their bye week just shortly after the official midway point in the season once again this year, which will allow them the chance to put in extra preparation time for a tough Week 11 opponent.

Week 11: Falcons at Saints

Coming out of the bye week, Atlanta will have the tough task of facing NFC South rival the New Orleans Saints two times in the next three weeks. The Week 11 matchup will come on the road and in a tough environment in New Orleans against one of the top teams in the NFC.

In the Sunday afternoon game, Drew Brees and company will be able to take care of business and take down Atlanta on the Saints’ home field, taking the early season series advantage over the Falcons and snapping their three-game winning streak.

Prediction: Loss

Week 12: Raiders at Falcons

Atlanta will get its first look at the Las Vegas Raiders during the 2020 campaign in Week 12 at home at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

As will have been the story of the regular season thus far for the Falcons, they will once again thrive on their home field and will be able to defeat the AFC opponent. At this point in the year, the Raiders will begin to have drama surrounding quarterback Derek Carr and if he is indeed the quarterback of the future for Las Vegas, and that drama will allow the Falcons to avoid a losing streak to get back on track with a victory.

Prediction: Win

Week 13: Saints at Falcons

For the second time in a short three-week span, the tough New Orleans Saints will square off against Atlanta, this time coming at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on a Sunday afternoon.

As was the story in the Week 11 matchup between the two teams, Brees and the Saints will ultimately be just too much for the Falcons defense and New Orleans will be able to pull out the two-game season series sweep over Atlanta in 2020.

Prediction: Loss
