Looking at the Minnesota Vikings schedule for the 2020 season and identifying the toughest and easiest games on the slate this year.

Although the Minnesota Vikings have seen some personnel shift around and leave the organization this offseason, they still have high hopes for the 2020 NFL season. With multiple key players departing Minnesota on both sides of the field, including wide receiver Stefon Diggs, cornerback Xavier Rhodes, defensive end Everson Griffen and others, there is no doubt the Vikings will look a bit different on the field this year.

Even with that change in faces on both sides of the ball, Minnesota is still in a position to put together a strong season in 2020 while being an early favorite to claim the NFC North and make a second consecutive appearance in the postseason.

The Vikings finished the 2019 campaign with a record of 10-6 overall, finishing second behind the Green Bay Packers in the division while claiming the second NFC Wild Card spot in the playoffs. Minnesota ended up upsetting the New Orleans Saints in the Wild Card Round, before falling to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round to see its season come to an end.

In 2020, those expectations of reaching the playoffs once again remain, and after getting a look at the regular-season schedule now allows the Vikings to prepare for the upcoming season.

Minnesota was dominant at home last year, which should be the case again this season. The Vikings do have some tough contests on the road, which will result in the team’s overall record evening out throughout the course of the 16-game schedule.

With the season hopefully continuing to approach as scheduled, let’s dive into three of the toughest and easiest games that will appear on the Vikings schedule during the regular season.
