No. 3 Worst: Week 15 – at Green Bay Packers

The Carolina Panthers rolled into Lambeau Field on Nov. 10 last year and it was snowing, so you could only imagine what the weather will look like in Week 15, right around Christmas time. On top of that, the Green Bay Packers are just a really good team.

Lambeau Field is consistently one of the toughest environments in the entire NFL to play in. Whether it’s the noise of some of the craziest fans in football, the brisk weather which is often accompanied by snow, or the fact that you have to face off against one of the best quarterbacks in the league, teams always struggle to play in Green Bay.

This year shouldn’t be much different. The Packers return the majority of their 13-3 team and look to remain solid in their division, despite having what is viewed as one of the worst drafts this year.

The Panthers lost a heartbreaker last year in Green Bay, losing 24-16, just failing to sneak into the end zone with mere seconds left on the clock. All this, despite Kyle Allen outplaying Aaron Rodgers. Allen threw for 307 yards, one touchdown and one interception while Rodgers threw for 233 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions.

By the time Week 15 hits, the Panthers may already be well out of a playoff spot and this game would provide minimal stress, but if the Panthers surprise people and are compete for a playoff position, then this will be a tough game to come in and win.

The Panthers are 6-10 lifetime against the Packers but are rolling into the season with a completely new look. It sure would be nice to sneak out a win in Lambeau against one of the league’s toughest opponents. But as a Panthers fan, this could be a difficult one to watch.
