No. 1 Worst: Weeks 7-10 – New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Cheifs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This may be cheating using an entire month’s worth of game as the worst part of the schedule but what a gauntlet this is going to be at midseason. The one semi-positive aspect is that the locations will be divided in half; two home games and two away games.

For starters, the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are arguable the two top teams in the NFC. Then the Kansas City Cheifs are the top team in the AFC. Three out of the four weeks will be against arguable the three toughest teams in the entire NFL.

The second thing is that three of these games are divisional battles. Everybody knows that rivalries bring the best out of teams, and the Panthers will have to run through all three teams in their divisions within these four weeks.

Lastly, these are four MVP-winning quarterbacks. As much as three of them aren’t playing at an MVP level anymore, they are still tough and still have the pedigree needed to be a great quarterback at any moment. On top of that, all four have been to a Super Bowl, and three of them have won a Super Bowl — Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady winning in the past two years.

As mentioned previously, it may be a blessing in disguise having this difficult of a schedule in a year where they aren’t set up to compete at a high level anyway.

These four weeks, though, will have the potential to absolutely kill the season, or give Panthers fans hope that this roster can compete. Either way, they are going to play at a high level for four straight weeks, if they want to remain competitive
