. . Tom Brady. 4. player. 48.

At the end of last season, Tom Brady saw his positioning among the top quarterbacks in the league drop significantly. However, as he neared the bottom of the top ten, the future Hall of Famer signed with the Buccaneers. The move instantly made Tampa Bay a contender and elevated Brady’s stature within the NFL.

Brady joins a team that already features Mike Evans and Chris Godwin at wide receiver. Last season, Evans averaged 89.0 receiving yards per game while Godwin averaged 95.2. The wide receiver corps also added Minnesota’s Tyler Johnson in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Buccaneers also featured two quality tight ends last year. Cameron Brate routinely produces solid numbers and is worth his weight in gold in the red zone. O.J. Howard, a first-round pick from 2017, hasn’t lived up to his potential yet, but playing with Brady could finally elevate the Alabama product’s play. Did I mention that Rob Gronkowski came out of retirement to play with Brady again?

Skeptics claim Brady looked old in 2019. While his production did slip, he played with one of the worst supporting casts in the league. Now, he’s playing with a group of future All-Pros. I expect the 42-year-old quarterback will silence his doubters yet again this coming season.
