36. . . . Russell Wilson . 2. player

A perennial Pro Bowler and MVP candidate at this point, Russell Wilson carried the Seahawks to an 11-5 record. The 31-year-old quarterback completed 66.1 percent of his pass attempts for 4,110 yards, 31 touchdowns and only five interceptions. He led the Seahawks to the Divisional Round before the Green Bay Packers eliminated Seattle.

Wilson finished the 2019 season with a 106.3 passer rating despite taking a league-leading 48 sacks. Seattle rarely prioritizes the offensive line. Outside of Duane Brown, the entire unit performs at a sub-par level in pass protection. However, Wilson uses his athleticism to escape and extend plays for large chunks of yardage. He’s also skilled enough to fit throws into tight windows despite throwing on the run.

Wilson also led five game-winning drives this past season, the most of any quarterback in the NFL. He’s a clutch, efficient, and elite quarterback who instantly makes any team a contender. Only one quarterback in NFL history, Aaron Rodgers, has a better career passer rating than Wilson.

While the Seahawks didn’t make it to the NFC Championship game, Wilson played well in both of the team’s playoff games. In total, he threw for 602 yards, two touchdowns and finished the postseason with a 107.4 passer rating.
