Los Angeles Rams: 3 Dream trade targets from Raiders before 2020 training camp
By Dan Parzych
1. Hunter Renfrow
Brandin Cooks may no longer be part of the picture after the Rams decided to trade the speedster to the Houston Texans this offseason, but the offense is still in pretty solid shape at wide receiver.
Not only is Goff fortunate enough to have two reliable receivers in Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp to work with as two of his top targets, but Los Angeles has high expectations for Van Jefferson and Josh Reynolds as well.
With that being said, Woods and Kupp have proven to be extremely reliable for Goff to work with, but Jefferson and Reynolds still have to show they can handle the pressure surrounding the Rams’ offense entering the 2020 season.
After watching Hunter Renfrow catch 49 passes for 605 yards with four touchdowns as a rookie in 2019, the former Clemson star seems like the kind of individual who will only continue to get better in the NFL with experience.
The Raiders obviously may be hesitant to trade Renfrow after only one season due to his potential alone, but also keep in mind that Las Vegas did add some other talent at wide receiver this offseason, whether it was Nelson Agholor in free agency or Henry Ruggs III during the draft.
If Las Vegas were to somehow decide their receiving corps was a little too crowded, maybe the Rams could get lucky with Renfrow becoming available for a potential trade, whether this seems like a long shot or not to consider.
