New Orleans Saints schedule 2020: 3 Toughest, 3 easiest games
By Zach Wilson
After three heart-wrenching playoff exits in a row, the New Orleans Saints will attempt to see if this is their year as they navigate their 2020 schedule.
Few teams have experienced more pain and heartbreak in the last three seasons than the New Orleans Saints if any. That’s obviously difficult to say considering they have won the NFC South three seasons in a row but the sheer disappointment from their nail-biting playoff losses is enough to drive a fan to the brink of having no hope.
New Orleans enters the season again as one of the best teams in football and the favorite within their division. Even with brand new Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ arrival, Tom Brady, the Saints remain the most complete team along with the San Francisco 49ers, in the NFC.
The additions of wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and safety Malcolm Jenkins should help bolster areas that shouldn’t even be considered previously as weakness’. Not to mention the insertion of one of the best backup quarterbacks in the league, Jameis Winston.
After three straight years of being wrong, and disappointed, I am still selecting the New Orleans Saints to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl for 2021. Drew Brees is still playing at a high level, despite a slight decline, and their roster is the most complete it has ever been.
With the showers of praise and celebration does come difficulties. The schedule is not all rainbows and butterflies, and an easy run to their fourth straight division championship. They have a tough road to glory, with a few sprinkles of gimmes along the way.
Here are what looks to be the three biggest tests, and the three easiest wins of the season for the New Orleans Saints.
