2. Kendrick Bourne

Whether Chicago eventually decides to roll with Trubisky or Foles under center for the 2020 season, either quarterback is going to need as much extra help as possible from the receiving corps.

Over the previous two years, Allen Robinson has proven to be a reliable No. 1 target for Trubisky to work with in the passing game, but as far as the other players at the position are concerned, this is where the Bears struggle from time to time.

If Chicago received more consistent play from other players such as Anthony Miller at wide receiver, maybe the Bears’ offense would have been in much better shape during the 2019 season and helped the team earn one of the playoff spots in the NFC.

Adding another wideout such as Kendrick Bourne isn’t going to fix all of the inconsistent play at wide receiver for the Bears, but this would have the potential to turn into an underrated move if all went according to plan.

Bourne’s numbers certainly don’t stand out like some of the other top receivers across the NFL, but the 72 catches from the previous two seasons (including nine touchdowns) with the Bears show the offense would help take some of the pressure off Robinson.
