The Pittsburgh Steelers could benefit from pulling off a trade with the Green Bay Packers before the start of 2020 training camp.

After missing out on the playoffs last season despite being in control of their own destiny in the final weeks, the Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to see better results in 2020, especially with a healthy Ben Roethlisberger.

The Steelers knew they would be in for a challenge early on in 2019 when Roethlisberger suffered a season-ending elbow injury, but unfortunately Mike Tomlin’s squad learned the hard way that backups Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges are still works-in-progress.

Assuming Roethlisberger is healthy enough to return to his usual ways running the offense, there is every reason to believe that Pittsburgh will be able to bounce back as a top contender in the AFC during the 2020 season, as long as key players manage to stay healthy.

But of course, just like every other team across the league, the Steelers could certainly benefit from upgrading at a few positions before the start of training camp down the road, whether it happens to be through a trade or free agency.

If Pittsburgh does end up deciding to take the potential trade approach, one team that could help the Steelers in a big way is the Green Bay Packers, who are looking to remain a top contender in the NFC during the 2020 season after coming up short of reaching the Super Bowl last winter.

Looking at Green Bay’s current roster, there are numerous players the team would most likely be willing to consider giving up in a trade, but also a handful of dream targets that Pittsburgh should want to consider as well.

Since it never hurts to have a little fun during the offseason, here are three dream targets that immediately come to mind from the Packers that could put the Steelers in better position to compete before training camp arrives.
