team. 51. . . . Los Angeles Rams. 18

Another team with a new uniform, the Los Angeles Rams were late to the game, and just like the Atlanta Falcons, they took a major hit for their reveal. However, theirs didn’t feel as fair.

Sure, there are issues with the uniform. One isn’t a huge deal and is probably a precursor to something else — the odd name tag placement on their left shoulder. Clearly, this is a test to see how it would look to throw some advertisements on the jersey, I mean there’s no other reason for that to be there.

Another problem is the yellow gradient numbers. For whatever reason, this gradient fade is becoming a thing and it shouldn’t. It’s bad. But thankfully, theirs isn’t as pronounced as the Falcons atrocity.

A third issue is the fact that they aren’t displaying a white on yellow uniform. It’s obviously an option with the yellow pants, but it should be a staple because these are the true colors of the L.A. Rams.

For those of us who grew up in Southern California, this is how they’re supposed to look. Is it perfect? No, but they did a good job trying to become more modern while still paying homage to their past. The Cleveland Browns could have taken a page from them as they did at least try something new whereas the Browns just went right back to their old uniforms and labeled them new.

Also, it’s hard not to look at this helmet and not like it. That scores a lot of points but the top thing to praise them for is the fact that they no longer have the gold (which never looked right) and won’t wear those mismatched unis they’ve sported the past couple of seasons.
