Seattle Seahawks: 3 Dream trade targets from Chiefs before 2020 training camp
By Dan Parzych
If the Seattle Seahawks are looking to make a trade before the start of 2020 training camp, they could benefit from reaching out to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Since Russell Wilson joined the Seattle Seahawks in 2012, the team has only missed the playoffs once, meaning if all goes well this upcoming season, Pete Carroll’s squad will continue to be a top team to beat in the NFC.
Despite coming up short the way they did last January against the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round, the Seahawks still deserve plenty of credit for putting up the impressive fight they did.
As for what 2020 will have in store for Seattle, well let’s just say thanks to another successful offseason that consisted of the team filling numerous needs on both sides of the football, the Seahawks should have little trouble punching their ticket to the postseason once again.
Of course, this is always easier said than done when looking at how competitive the rest of the conference is expected to be, meaning the Seahawks could benefit from adding some extra talent before the start of training camp.
While there are still a few key free agents worth considering, Seattle’s best chance of adding talent may need to come through a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs being one team that comes to mind worth making a deal with.
Obviously, the Chiefs as defending Super Bowl champions will have plenty of talent to work with and be in great position to repeat in 2020, which should make the Seahawks want to pull off a potential trade even more.
Long shot or not, if Seattle were to convince Kansas City to pull off some sort of trade this offseason, here are three dream targets that immediately come to mind to push for.
