Toughest Game No. 2: Buffalo Bills, Week 10

Buffalo boasted one of the stingiest defenses in the league last year. The team gave up the third-fewest yards per game (298.3), fourth-fewest passing yards per game (195.2), and second-fewest points per game (16.2). Even with the addition of Hopkins, Murray is staring at an uphill battle in Week 10.

However, Buffalo’s offense still lacks a killer punch. Right now, the team relies on its defense to keep opponents from catching the team’s mediocre scoring numbers. The Bills generated 19.6 points per game last season, which tied for 22nd in the league. If the Cardinals score in the 28-point range when they face Buffalo, Kingsbury’s team could pick up a surprising win.

Easiest Game No. 2: Carolina Panthers, Week 4

The Panthers brought in Baylor’s Matt Rhule as their new head coach on a seven-year contract for a reason. This franchise is not digging itself out of the bottom of the NFC South for several years. The team recently entered a total rebuild after saying goodbye to Mario Addison, Luke Kuechly, Cam Newton, Greg Olsen, and Trai Turner.

Carolina did sign Teddy Bridgewater to start at quarterback, but the former first-round pick has only started six games in the previous four seasons. There’s no way to know how the veteran quarterback will perform in Carolina’s system.

Rhule spent all of his draft picks on the defensive side of the ball this year. However, half of those selections only served to replace players the team lost in free agency. The Panthers are at least two years away from being competitive.
